Chrissy Teigen is celebrating a milestone with her nine-month-old son.

The 33-year-old best selling author took to her favorite social media platform, Twitter, on Wednesday to congratulate son Miles on graduating from his head-shaping gear.

Back in December, the mini-John Legend was outfitted with a helmet to treat a slight case of deformational plagiocephaly.

Chrissy shared a selfie video with Miles to share the good news that he was helmet-free.

The pair donned animal noses and ears from a filter in the clip.

‘Happy helmet-free day,’ she chirped to the camera. ‘No more helmet!’

The mother and son duo, who were dressed in pajamas in the clip, were playful as Miles squealed and stuck a tiny hand in his mom’s mouth.

Along with the video, Chrissy tweeted: ‘such a trooper for 3 months of helmet. happy graduation, Miles!!’

Early in December the baby was fitted for his head-shaping gear, which the Cravings author shared with her millions of followers.

Miles had a case of deformational plagiocephaly, better known as an asymmetrical head, which can be fixed by wearing the helmet for 22 hours a day to help redirect growth toward the flatter area of the wearers head.

What is it? The condition, which is basically an asymmetrical head, can be fixed by wearing the helmet for 22 hours a day to help redirect growth toward the flatter area of the wearers head

‘My baby bug got his head shaping helmet today!’ she wrote on Instagram at the time. ‘Please don’t feel bad for him if you see photos, he is a happy bug and we’re just fixing his flat!’

Teigen called her son’s head ‘adorable’ and only ‘slightly misshapen.’

‘Honestly he’s probably gonna be even cuter with it somehow,’ she later said on Twitter.

The helmet, which is typically worn 22 hours of the day, will help redirect growth towards the flatter areas of Miles’ head.

Despite the model’s call to followers not to ‘feel bad’ for her son, the post prompted an influx of internet trolls to shame the mother-of-two’s parenting style and decision to fit her son into a helmet.

Naturally, the culinary mogul didn’t waste a minute before clapping back at the haters.

Clapback: Just a friendly reminder that you do not indeed know absolutely everything,' she continued. 'Miles has been seeing a physiotherapist - we didn't just go straight to helmet. We tried muscle work and will continue.

‘Also your flat headed kid turned out fine yes yes yes I agree.’
